A new meta-analysis (49 studies) published in the Mayo Clinic Proceedings indicates that yoga practice that emphasizes meditation/mental relaxation🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️ and BREATHING techniques  can have a positive impact on high blood pressure (BP), share by Global Wellness Institute‘s latest Wellness Evidence.

The results indicate that yoga is a viable antihypertensive lifestyle therapy that produces the greatest BP benefits when breathing techniques and meditation/mental relaxation are included.

Among samples with hypertension, yoga interventions that included BREATHING techniques and meditation/mental relaxation🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️ elicited BP reductions of 11/6 mm Hg compared with those that did not (ie, 6/3 mm Hg).

Besides Blood Pressure, Yoga breathing techniques and meditation/mental relaxation also known as an efficient way for anxiety reduction, both in and out of workplace.
